Clipster 184.108.40.206 release
The new CLIPSTER® version 5.5 adds a significant format to the DI workstation’s portfolio: MXF AS-02 packages can now be read as a project file, populating the timeline and played back in realtime. Closed captions already existing in the material are detected and passed to the SDI output or can be added as aux.data to the video track for playback.
The high frame rate DCI additions made with version 5.3 are finetuned even further. Please keep in mind that producing a valid DCI compatible package can easily be accomplished by using the “Reset to default” button within the Digital Cinema Delivery Tool – as this resets all advanced settings to legacy player compatible values.
CLIPSTER Version 5.5 will be delivered up from now and is also optional available for existing CLIPSTER 4th Gen.
As several fixes are also included in this new version, an update from 5.3 is recommended.
