Ardis will again be in attendance at BVE 2012 showing a full range of their DDP products, from the newly launched portable small form factor Micro DDP to fully redundant 48 drive chassis. The DDP provides multi-write cross platform compatibility while supporting software and workflows from Avid, Protools, Adobe, Apple, Autodesk and Nucoda to name a few.
Ardis will also be showcasing the newly enhanced workflow manager for user based folder permissions. From within the DDP software you can create lists of users and also groups of users. From here you can then assign users and groups to folder hierarchies within drives. The folder permissions assignable are read/write, read only and read/write with no delete. No need for a complex Open Directory or Active Directory server with the technical overheads that go with it. With this new functionality it will enable enhanced workflow additions for applications like Pro Tools and Final Cut Pro.
With multiple configuration options Ardis will have the SAN for you at the right cost.
