LTO Tape Decks for Media Professionals

Pro-Cache adds features demanded by media industry professionals to the basic archiving package delivered in Prime-Cache. Plenty of disk space allows you to organize your content, stage items for archiving, even use the Cache-A share for general NAS applications. Additional ports expand direct attached storage connectivity options with eSATA and ExpressCard interfaces. And, a SAS port on the back of every unit will allow for future library expansion.

Built into a sturdy 3 RU half rack housing this model features an internal RAID configurable as striped for maximum speed (RAID0) or for 100% protection with mirrored reliability (RAID1).With its additional ExpressCard and eSATA connections, this unit is ideal for fast archiving of direct connected storage.

Two Pro-Cache models are available:

Pro-Cache 4 - LTO 4, 800GB

Pro-Cache 5 - LTO 5, 1.5TB

The Pro-Cache 5 is read/write backwards compatible with LTO 4 tapes (cheaper) and backwards read compatible with LTO 3.
