Training

Training programme to be expanded

Following a highly successful first training session on the basics of the video signal and the importance of test and measurement, root6 is to expand its training programme.

Designed for runners and edit assistants, the half-day courses are given by leading Soho engineer Phil Crawley.

Future courses will cover the basics of audio, quality control for television, colourimetery,
health & safety in TV environments and TCIP – all you ever wanted to know.

Visit our training webpage for more information.

Lotus Track Day

WAY too fast!

The winners of our 'Lotus Day' competition, in the most recent catalogue, enjoyed a fabulous day out in the Silverstone sunshine where they were treated to the ultimate white-knuckle ride.

High speed circuits of the Grand Prix circuit were provided courtesy of root6 workflow engineer and racing driver Dave Skeggs in his awesome Lotus Elise. A common thought was. ‘We are going WAY too fast to ever get round this corner alive!’
