Adobe Anywhere was released back in the last part of 2012 allowing editors to work collaboratively and access shared media across standard networks virtually anywhere they have internet connectivity. Since the launch the Anywhere team have been working hard and listening to the community to add features and functionality to Anywhere, last week saw the release of Anywhere 2.0.1, we’ve upgraded over demo Anywhere environment and getting to grips with the updates..
A key feature for me in this release is the ability to setup export present which can be run from the client end – Premiere allowing user to export sequences remotely.
Features in the back-end added range from live back-ups, OMFI exports to a new admin GUI.
Prelude now supports a full rough cut workflow so you can start in Prelude and finish in Premiere Pro
Updated API as well and the pickup in the market to integrate with Anywhere has been one to watch.
Lastly the Pad app has been updated, still waiting for ability to comment and add markers but I’m sure that on the horizon.
Please get in touch if you’d like more information, a demo or as its in the ‘cloud we can setup you up a remote trial!
