Video test & measurement 101
Ideal for the runner who is going into the machine room or edit assistant who is starting to play more of an operational role.
- Overview of test and measurement and historically why it was necessary
- Current requirements and the economic necessity of delivering proper material
- Overview of the four-tiles style of current WVR/WFM models and operation
- Line waveforms and what you're looking at
- Overview and introduction to colour space and gamut including legalisers

- Introduction to audio features of Tek WVR

Television QC using Tektronix test sets
Ideal for junior engineers or machine room staff who are moving up to QC'ing finished programmes.
- Recap of Video & Audio measurement principles and requirements
- Recap of operation of the Tektronix
- How legalisers fit into the television delivery process
- Different colour spaces - composite colour in HD (for Sky
delivery etc)
- Complete run-through of the network QC features of the WVR

TCP/IP for broadcast engineers
Gone are the days when every cable carried a synchronous video stream. Contemporary engineering staff have to be aware of packetized networks and how they impact the modern facility.
