Tech Breakfast Webcasts, 17th July 2008

Our second Tech Breakfast, held on July 17th, focused on the evolving tiered storage structures, from online to nearline and offline storage and the processes required to managed these transitions. Whether this be within a single facility, or managing multiple SAN / NAS on multiple sites, which is a reality for most.

This seminar was aimed at today’s file based workflows for Avid and other widely used editing SAN environments.

Tridib Chakravarty, CEO of StorageDNA and Brian Stokes of Quantum presented an Avid storage focus, from today’s Unity through to data transfer and management and finally some new storage solutions.
