Yes, one of these lovely, limited edition root6/BVE bags could be yours! Packed with pockets and big enough to carry a 17″ laptop, yet light-weight enough to folded and stowed away.
All you need to do to get get your hands on one is to comment on this post, letting us know what you saw at BVE that you’d like us to blog about – e.g. what piece of kit or emerging technology would you like us to explore ?
A bag to the first 30 UK contributors

At BVE I saw the new Sony OLED monitors. Unfortunately it was after I’d been to the bar, not before! So I probably missed their brilliance. More info please.
Met all the Root 6 guys for the first time , really impressed with the company, and their friendly hands on approach.
I didn’t go to BVE but I like something free !
I went to BVE a couble of years back and the Root6 people seemed friendly.
GoPro cameras – they’re popping up everywhere. Jello-licious as he** but the dual-cam synced stereo setup is very cool.
Unfortunately, because of rather urgetn work commitments I wasn’t able to make it to BVE this year.
I was hoping to look at DSLRs with video capability.
The 3D Revolution and the development of Super Hi Vision .
ContentAgent continues to be the must-have tool for all post houses.
Looking forward to Root 6 blogging about Mistika.
BVE 2011 was a better show that 2010: there was a strong positive buzz about the hall.
Visited BVE again this year and Root 6 guys gave a very informative demo of ContentAgent transcoder. Would love to see a blog comparing currrent video capture cards and which of the current crop of duallink DVI monitors are most suitable for colour grading.
The range of products and services was truly stunning this year, as reported elsewhere here much better than 2010.
Looking forward to hearing the fightback against DSLRs!
I thorougly enjoyed seeing all the products. I was very interested in the 3D technology and the new products from Sony, JVC and Panasonic. I also ended up spending a lot of cash.
The most satisfying part of visiting the dtand was the quality of unbiassed advice given.
Long may it continue.
Where did the name root6 come from?
I’d like to see more on FCPX, this is a great video editing tool, Canon C300 nice camera and some good Grade 1 Colour correction monitors.
