Phil Crawley
Having done a degree in maths and programming in the eighties Phil
went to the BBC hoping to find the bright lights of show business. After
five years in studios and maintenance he realised Soho was where the
bright lights were and spent most of the nineties running engineering
in a couple of the larger facilities.
Despite years of being tech supervisor
on Big Brother and Fame Academy he found no bright lights and has been
running SI projects at Root6 since 2003. He now realises software is
where the bright lights always were!

Graham McGuinness
After graduating with a degree in journalism Graham
Joined a multi award-winning commercials post house as an editorial assistant.
Five years later, as an editor with a strong background in film, video and non linear finishing,
he joined Avid in London - first as a trainer, and later in technical support, becoming UK product specialist for Media Composer.
Post production workflow design and implementation has always been a passion,
and Graham led much of the pioneering non-linear shared production and editorial process work on large feature films and documentaries, most of which are still in use today.
Currently he focuses on shared automated broadcast and post environments and optimised file-based workflows.

Rupert Watson
Rupert became an editor in 1989, editing
documentaries, drama and music videos for an independent facilities
company in London. Among the programmes in which he had a hand were
Equinox, Dispatches, The Late Show, The World This Week and the
Holland Park Comprehensive's annual opera for Michael Kamen.
After too many years of staying up all
night, being slave driven by merciless producers, he joined Avid,
working in Customer Service and as an Application Editor for Media
Composer and EDL Manager (ah, those were the days).
In 1997 he joined forces with fellow directors of root6 and
started what has become one of the most successful and long-lived
resellers in the UK post production business.
