Media Composer can now be used with your favourite video card. In addition to Avid's Nitris DX, AJA, Blackmagic, Bluefish, Matrox, and MOTU devices can also be integrated with Media Composer

Expanded Camera and Format Support

Avid have expanded AMA to ready AVCHD and RED Epic files, and you can now encode QuickTime on the Mac so Media Composer can fit into Pro Res workflows.

Additionally, Avid DNxHD 444 preserves full color detail through the pipeline yet allows multiple stream playback and complex visual effects with real time performance.
